Oban Little Bay is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky from Oban Distillery, one of Scotland's smallest producers, tucked into the west-coast port town where the sea meets the Highlands. Master blenders marry whisky matured in refill American oak hogsheads, European Sherry casks, and refill casks with new ends together in small oak casks — the "little bay" of the name. Expect an oily, nutty nose of orchard fruit and Christmas pudding, a chewy, fruit-bread palate with orange zest and clove, and a long finish that dries into dark chocolate. Serve neat in a tumbler with a splash of cool spring water.
