Here's a first for Scotch: The Glenlivet's classic Speyside single malt, finished in casks that don't exist anywhere else — coopers dismantle first-fill rum and bourbon barrels and rebuild them into one bespoke "fusion" cask. The result leans tropical and sweet, with orange zest, vanilla custard, coconut and caramel on the nose, then juicy apricot, peach and toffee-covered banana with a whisper of cinnamon. Bottled at 40% ABV. Pour it neat or over one big cube to let the fruit unfold slowly.
