Overview

More Info

A quarter-century in hand-picked sherry-seasoned European oak from Jerez, aged the whole way through at Macallan's Speyside estate on the River Spey — no shortcuts, no finishing casks tacked on at the end. The result is rich mahogany in the glass, with raisin, dried orange, and black cherry on the nose giving way to citrus, dried fruit, and a whisper of wood smoke on the palate. Pour it neat, in a wide glass, and let it breathe before your first sip.

The Premium Scotch in the World!

"I particularly love sipping on this wonderful Macallan scotch while reading over computer folders at the base late into the night. To put it even more beautifully, the powerful and triumphant flavors of this wonderful scotch are so exceptional that for a connoisseur like myself, money is no object. Simply said, life is too short to swill inferior whisky!"

When you want the best,

"The 25 year old sherry oak is incredibly nuanced and has a protracted finish. Smoke and sweet sherry are difficult to combine, yet this is expertly done in this unique and outstanding scotch. Yes, it is expensive, but superb flavor and complexity are quite uncommon. Enjoy it.""

I just became a new scotch fan.

"I recently become interested in scotch and have been researching various regions, distilleries, finishes, etc. for just over ten years. These expensive old spirits are out of my price range, and I don't have any kind friends who could give me a present like that. I can only hope that someday I will get to enjoy a 25 year or older scotch with someone else."

If you're in Rome, My friend!

"I can honestly say that every Macallan year I've had has been top-notch in taste and finish. I had this one (the 25-year-old) downtown and savored it to the fullest. Right in front of my face, it really blew my mind! One of these days, I wish I had a better job so I could buy a bottle because it would be wonderful. the price won't deter you if your wallet is full if you're a connoisseur."

Peak of the profession

"The waiter praised me for letting him serve the glass on my first attempt. The rich aroma had him completely smitten. I simply took in the smell for fifteen minutes. Then the flavor revealed the most sophisticated and complex scotch I had ever tasted. Although it is forceful, the finish is exceptionally smooth and long-lasting. A really well-balanced whisky with nothing overly overpowering. Since then, I've been given a bottle, and whenever I feel like it, I take a few drops. Superb!"

I Can See Why It's So Expensive

"Since the present administration has placed a 25% levy on scotch, I'll wait till that tariff is removed. Of course, the EC countered by placing a reciprocal tariff on bourbon, which caused a 30% decrease in commerce in both directions. We shouldn't let politics get in the way of enjoying a fine scotch."

This fluid is 100 percent gold.

"My very favorite scotch for special occasions. Smooth and fully flavored, elegant yet substantial and rich. I get cinnamon and clove flavors from the sherry and wood spice, which meld into orange and chocolate at the finish. The mouth feel is on the thick and chewy side with a good coating of oil. All of this culminates in one of the most drawn-out and satisfying conclusions I have ever had. Save your money and purchase two of the 25 if you are thinking about the 30 year."

The only best single malt to drink

"The absolute greatest dish or beverage I've ever consumed. Every taste I took left me only able to utter the word "Wow.""

I enjoy MAC25 during a night at Bellagio

"Although I have seen this in movies, I would never consider drinking even one glass, much less two, in one sitting. However, I was fortunate to have a friend who worked the high-limit slots at the Bellagio and who gave me a free drink there. "Anything you want bro," he said. So I asked the bartender what he would choose to drink if he had an option at the bar. He said "Macallan 25" without any doubt. He replied "$125" when I inquired about the cost of a pour. The scent was quite fruity, with hints of orange and pear, and I remarked, "Damn, let's run this!" I couldn't wait for this to taste on my tongue! Cinnamon and nutmeg were in the air, baby, running wild! Cinnamon and nutmeg were in the air, baby, running wild! The finish has beautiful flavors and a hint of smoke. Oh my God! I asked for a glass of 18 year Macallan since I was feeling a little bad. He poured me my second glass of heaven and said, "You're friend is comping you, why go backwards?" right now."

IF you can handle the price, buy Mac25.

"The finest single malt I've ever consumed. Outstanding for a special event. When we win a horse race, we treat ourselves."
