The most affordable single malt available!
"Okay, so in my life, I've had some very great Scotch, Whiskeys, and Bourbons. And this 14-year-old Oban offers, in my opinion, the best balance, flavors, and finish. Absolutely beautiful. Very well made! This has the best quality, price, and drinkability in my opinion. Stunning single malt Scotch beauty! If you can, buy it from Costco or Tipxy! :)"

One of six Islay-produced whiskies.
"This is one of my favorites after tasting some of the best single malts. When I visited the distillery in 2016, the most incredible event occurred. The smell of Oban Bay returned as I opened it, and the flavors transported me there! Not a lot of peat flavor. The flavor is buttery, fruity, and contains just enough peat to maintain a satisfying balance."

One Top-Notch Scotch in the Market!
"In November of last year, I had the pleasure of touring Oban and the distillery. If you ever have the chance to visit Scotland, I highly recommend it, as well as their whisky! One of the best whiskies out there, in my view, is their 14 year since it has such a wonderful balance of sweetness, oak, and a tiny bit of smoke."

Affordably priced, excellent wine
"It is not a big heavy scotch, which is perfect for those just starting out or someone who wants a fine dram to break up the cask strength stuff. It is an exceptionally smooth scotch with great legs, and the flavor is mild but still very pleasant. good notes of hay and sea spray, a little bit of grainy husky malt, and the slightest bit of pepper. Again, neither the flavor nor the scent will jump out at you, but it doesn't make them unappealing or uninteresting. Simply put, it is very high quality and is now priced quite reasonably. I recently purchased another bottle for 69. 99, but Lagavulin 16 and this stuff are quickly approaching $113, so get some while you can."

Oban: The Unexpected Gem
"When it was around $90 per bottle, Macallan 15-year-old was my favorite; today, it costs $130. It's a fantastic single malt, but at that price, the Oban 14Yr at $113 a bottle is increasingly harder to pass up. Because it is smooth, many people may find it simpler to consume."

My Preferred Scotch
"I really enjoy the flavor of Johnny Walker Blue, but the only place I can afford to buy it is on a cruise ship where there are no taxes. Even at that it’s $150/bottle. Well I found a Johnny Walker 18 at Costco that I thought I’d try out and an Oban 14 at Tipxy & More. To my surprise and palate's delight, the Oban 14 was incredibly smooth and not smoky like the Johnny Walker 18. However, your mileage may vary. So the Oban 14 will be my new go to Scotch. To compare flavors, I'll get a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue. I hope the Oban 14 triumphs once more so I don't lose everything!"

Pleasant and Supple
"We've tried a lot of other scotches, but this one has always been our favorite. We often shop at Costco, but travelling to these large box stores these days is a pain, and Tipxy has excellent service and a wide selection of goods."

Defeater Of Other Scotches
"Given that they are almost the same price, I was torn between this and the Glenmorangie Allta. I went the the Allta because the Peat allusions made me anxious on the Oban. But to my amazement, a buddy had a bottle of it, and I got to test the Oban 14. It is simply amazing. Strong, smooth, balanced, and somewhat smokey in the aftertaste to balance the sweetness. The Macallan 15 Triple Cask and Glenmorangie 18 are the two scotches I've experienced that come close to it. For reference, that Allta I mentioned is also exciting. Never had a scotch that tasted and smelled like a shortbread biscuit loaf. Delicious and really distinctive."

This whisky is a classic
"With a touch of smoke and rich, smooth fruitiness. This is unique because of the Finish! Neat, on the rocks, even if you add a drop of water; whichever you drink, it's a great scotch! wonderful for giving."

Excellent Whisky
"This is fantastic if you enjoy more smoky, peaty Scotch. We didn't have time to visit to the Oban Distillery when we were in Scotland, so decided to order from Tipxy. A great choice."
