What started as a story of a whiskey that could’ve been, turned out to be a rewarding exploration of what’s to come. Minor Case Rye Whiskey reimagines the pre-Prohibition style rye whiskey Minor Case Beam would’ve distilled in the late 1800’s, but then finished in cream sherry casks. Resulting in a unique, unmistakably smooth rye experience you won’t find anywhere else.
Nose: Ripe Red Fruit, Baking Spices, Green Apple, Banana
Taste: Red Fruit, Baking Spices, Watered Down Vanilla, Oak
Finish: The finish is long with a mouth-warming toasted oak profile with hints of sweet sherry and vanilla mixed with black pepper. As the finish fades, it becomes dry leaving all the hints of sherry sweetness behind.
