Dalton Estate Merlot represents the next echelon of quality from one of Israel's most respected wineries. Viscous and dark purple, the aromatic profile bursts with black cherry and raspberry, and with clove and butterscotch contributed by oak barrel aging. The palate features more ripe berry with hints of preserves, as well as fresh vanilla bean. A great wine to pair with lasagna, boeuf bourgignon, or tri-tip steak off the grill.
Tasting notes
The wine is viscous and dark purple, it is showing classic varietal qualities of plums, cherries, cloves and homemade jam, balanced by subtle shades of vanilla from the barrel.
