Every winter, Woodford Reserve dresses its Kentucky Straight Bourbon in a new label for the season — a tradition-turned-canvas at the Versailles, Kentucky distillery. Inside is the same triple-distilled, copper-pot-still bourbon fans know, built on a 72% corn, 18% rye, 10% malted barley mash bill and bottled at 90.4 proof. Expect dried fruit, orange, and cocoa on the nose, then caramel, chocolate, and warm spice through a smooth, lingering finish. Pour it neat by the fireplace, or let it anchor an Old Fashioned for gifting season.
Tasting notes
. Enjoy aromatics of orchard fruits, crushed mint, citrus, and vanilla over a palate of sticky toffee, holiday spice, aged wood, and chocolate-dipped grains.
