Overview

More Info

Cuervo Gold is the world's most popular tequila. The 'gold standard' by which others are judged. Cuervo Gold is a smooth tequila, with a slightly sweet-seeming taste. It is a blend of premium and reposado tequilas. The tequila has been rested in oak for a minimum of two months, which gives it its amber hue.

Incredible tipxy delivery

"I just learned about Tipxy as a delivery service. They are excellent drivers who adhere to delivery instructions to the letter. I heartily endorse this service!"

— Sharp (5/5)

It tastes deliciously smooth.

"The 1. 75 liter bottle that my wife and I got worked perfectly with homemade margaritas for our anniversary/coronaversary supper in our greenhouse in the backyard. Would repurchase. Deliciously smooth."

— Eden H. (5/5)

The superior substitute I was given

"I received the white item instead of the gold, but I was pleasantly delighted and will purchase it again."

— Burgess (5/5)

Best Weekend Companion

"A little Cuervo goes a long way, making it a great cocktail for the weekends."

— Ged B. (5/5)

Best for margaritas; not for sippers

"Although it is much more expensive, I prefer Patron Anejo. This reasonably priced tequila works well for margaritas and is also acceptable for shots."

— Leonard B. (4/5)

The smoothness is astounding.

"It tasted fantastic and was quite smooth. The margarita mix went perfectly with that."

— Imogen B. (5/5)

Straight or blended, as desired

"My favorite tequila, I prefer it neat or in cocktails, and I think the pricing is fair."

— Eric P. (5/5)

It's a five automatically.

"Anything that makes me feel terrific automatically receives a five-star rating. Definitely, I would advise."

— Pansy P. (5/5)

The experience was amazing

"The experience was absolutely incredible, and Jose Cuervo is one you shouldn't pass up."

— Daley T. (5/5)

"A good balance. ideal for blending. Enjoy! Shake thoroughly."

Q&A

Tipxy AI Overview

What people across the internet are saying
★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ 2/5 AI Rating

Distiller and Drinkhacker reviewers rate Jose Cuervo Especial Gold as the workhorse mixto — a 51% agave blend with caramel coloring. Tasters note sharp alcohol, faint orange peel and a chemical edge that's harsh for sipping. The world's #1 tequila for margaritas, but mediocre neat.
