Temecula sun does something interesting to Grenache: instead of picking early like Provence winemakers do, Wilson Creek lets the grapes fully ripen in California heat before blending them with Chardonnay and a splash of French Colombard into this dry sparkling rosé. The result leans riper than its French cousins — bursts of strawberry and melon with a floral lift on the nose. Family-owned since 1996 in Temecula Valley. Pour it chilled as an aperitif, or alongside something salty.
