Trivento's Golden Reserve Malbec draws its fruit from a handful of Mendoza's most storied sites — Vistalba, Agrelo, Perdriel, and Lujan de Cuyo — where century-old vines sit in the shadow of the Andes. After fermentation, the wine spends about 12 months in oak, building out its structure: plum, black cherry, and violet up front, with baking spice and toasty oak underneath. Medium-bodied with smooth tannins, it's built for the table — pour it alongside grilled steak or a wedge of aged hard cheese.
