Overview

Tommasi didn't just make a Ripasso — they helped put the word on the map, the first family to name it on a label. This Valpolicella Classico Superiore starts as a lighter red from the Conca d'Oro vineyard, then gets "re-passed" over warm Amarone pomace for a second fermentation that deepens color and builds structure. Eighteen months in Slavonian oak brings cherry, tobacco, and black pepper notes with silky tannins. Pour it alongside braised short ribs or grilled lamb.
