Tomatin 18 Year Old is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the Tomatin Distillery near Inverness, founded in 1897. It's aged in traditional oak casks before finishing in first-fill Oloroso Sherry butts, a process that builds layers of dried apricot, nougat, and toasted nut character opening into tropical fruit with a rich, full-bodied finish. Non-chill filtered and naturally colored. Pour it neat in a Glencairn glass, or stir it into an Old Fashioned to bring out the coffee-and-walnut depth.
Tasting notes
Dried apricot, nougat and distinctive nutty flavours develop into bursts of tropical fruit with mellow undertones and a rich, full-bodied finish.
