The 2022 Limited Edition doubles down on what makes Yamazaki unmistakable: mizunara. Suntory's blenders selected malts aged a dozen years and more in Japanese oak, then dressed the bottle in a label of traditional Echizen washi paper — a release offered only by lottery in Japan.
The pour leads with pineapple, orange and nutmeg, turns to honey, coconut cream and blueberry, and lands on vanilla and ginger with the faintest curl of smoke. Mizunara character at full volume.
