The Whistler 5 Year Old Bodega Cask Single Malt is a triple distilled whiskey that has been wholly matured in the finest Spanish Sherry Butts for its whole life. These butts were sourced from our partners in the famed Bodegas of Jerez de la Frontera.
Tasting notes
Nose: Stewed dark fruits, leather, chocolate and tobacco on the fore with citrus peel and caramel undertones.
Palate: Oily mouthfeel with leather, spices, dried figs and sultanas, coupled with bitter chocolate and dry citrus peel.
Finish: A long, lingering, dry mouthfeel with dried fruits and maltiness remaining.
