Tenimenti Ricci Brunello di Montalcino comes from one of the oldest family farms in the appellation, run by siblings Ferruccio and Ida Ricci in Sant'Angelo in Colle, Montalcino, Tuscany. Made from 100% hand-harvested Sangiovese Grosso grown on the region's mineral-rich galestro soil, the wine ferments before aging roughly two years in large traditional oak casks, then rests further in bottle before release. Expect a savory core of cherry, leather, and dried herb with firm, structured tannins. Pour it alongside braised beef, aged pecorino, or a hearty ragu.
