Most blancos hide their raw agave; this one turns it up to the legal maximum. Bottled at a full 55% ABV, Tapatio's high-proof blanco comes from the Camarena family's La Alteña distillery (NOM 1139) in the Jalisco highlands, where agave is baked in brick ovens, crushed with a tahona and roller mill, then double-distilled close to bottle strength to hold onto its terroir. Expect cooked agave, white pepper, citrus and a whisper of anise and cinnamon. Sip it neat, or let it power a serious margarita.
