Overview

Here's a whisky that resurrects a ghost. Stratheden's original Fife distillery went dark in 1926, and the Lost Distillery Company rebuilt its character from historical records into this blended malt. The Vintage bottling leans on rare, older single malts and sherry-cask depth, with no added colour and no chill filtration. Expect dry fruitcake, maraschino cherry and sweet tobacco, then a palate that turns surprisingly sweet and peppery with a whisper of salt. Pour it neat and let it unfold.
Tasting notes

Nose Dark fruits and rolling tobacco, with a few hints of brown sugar. Subtly old rum-esque.

Palate Crumbly fudge, a very light whiff of coastal peat, brown bread.
