Distilled from 100% malted barley during a single distilling season (January to June 2015), this release matured for 11 full years in new American white oak barrels with a level 3 char. Raised in a federally bonded warehouse in Denver, the spirit absorbed the extreme altitude and mile-high climate that gives Stranahan’s its signature depth. Cut to proof with pristine Rocky Mountain water from Eldorado Springs, it is bottled at precisely 100 Proof (50% ABV)—delivering an uncompromised, historical American single malt experience.
Nose: Candied apples, baked orchard fruit, pipe tobacco, and oiled leather, with inviting hints of clove and torched sugar.
Palate: A velvety, rich mouthfeel layered with buttery caramel, cracked pepper, dark chocolate, molasses, and charred oak spice.
