Moonbird is distilled without compromise in Holland by a seventh-generation family of find spirits crafters dating back to 1777. Bottled at 84 proof to allow all the botanicals to shine through while allowing the gin to stand up in your ice-cold martini, refreshing g&t, or bittersweet negroni.
Tasting notes
Ten botanicals individually distilled combine to offer a citrus-forward nose backed by aromas of juniper that lead to a crisp, complex, layered taste with rich mouthfeel. Angelica and orris root, accented with fresh notes of orange, lime and coriander on the front of the palate ushers in a spiced mid-palate of clove, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom and ends with a dry, clean finish. All of this is balanced by a strong backbone of European juniper in a base of pure wheat neutral spirit.
