Overview

Vietnam's first craft amaro, made in Hanoi by Sông Cái with Red Dao medicine woman Lý Mở Mẩy, who shares in the profits. Fifteen botanicals — fig, poppy, horehound, angelica and dandelion root among them — macerate in rice-and-molasses spirit, sweetened with wild honey from Lào Cai. Bitter, smoky, herbal; a digestif or a Negroni swap.
