Overview

Before Silver Oak was a cult favorite, it was one Alexander Valley Cabernet — the wine that launched the winery in 1972. Estate fruit spends 24 months in barrels from Silver Oak's own American-oak cooperage, laying down layers of cedar, vanilla and clove around blackberry, black cherry and ripe raspberry. Silky tannins, bright acidity, and a long, polished finish make it drink beautifully on release. Pour it alongside a grilled ribeye or short ribs and let the oak and fruit do the talking.
