From Cariñena in northern Spain, this one comes from Bodega San Valero, a cooperative founded in 1944 that farms across Aragón. The Celebrities line puts a bold, conversation-starting label on each of the region's signature grapes, and this is the Merlot: 100% of it, deep cherry-red, with ripe red-fruit aromas and a full, fleshy palate rounded out by soft tannins.
