Flechas de los Andes Gran Malbec is a 100% Malbec red wine from Vista Flores in Argentina's Uco Valley, Mendoza, grown on alluvial, stone-strewn soil roughly 1,100 meters at the base of the Andes. The estate was founded by Benjamin de Rothschild and Laurent Dassault, whose winemakers age the blend across foudres, second-use barrels, and stainless steel for added complexity without heavy oak. Expect dark plum and black cherry, violet florals, and a mineral, herbal edge with fine, silky tannins. Pour it alongside grilled steak or rosemary-rubbed roast chicken.
