Robert Mondavi built this bottling as a love letter to Napa Valley itself, pulling fruit from Oakville and Stags Leap District all the way down to Carneros. It's mostly Cabernet Sauvignon rounded out with small amounts of Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec, aged in French oak for structure and depth. Expect blackberry, black cherry, and a mocha-tinged finish. Pour it alongside a well-marbled ribeye or aged cheddar.
