Here's a rum with genuine naval papers: Pusser's is blended to the Royal Navy's Admiralty recipe, the same one poured as the daily "tot" until the ration ended in 1970. It gathers pot- and column-still rums from Guyana and Trinidad, with the wooden Port Mourant still lending real weight. Expect molasses, Demerara sugar, dried fruit and caramel with a spiced finish, and no added flavoring or color. Mix it into a Painkiller, or sip it neat.
