Named for the tiny ferry village that once served as the gateway to Islay, this cask-strength single malt comes bottled at a full 110 proof (55% ABV) as a USA exclusive from London's Elixir Distillers. Matured in American oak, non-chill filtered and naturally colored, it opens with sharp apple and smoke before rolling into peat, clove, licorice root, cocoa and a briny finish. Pour it neat, or let a single cube coax out the fruit beneath the smoke.
