Apple brandy that drinks like a great aged whisky's orchard-loving cousin. Pierre Huet is one of Normandy's oldest Calvados estates, and this XO leans on more than 25 cider-apple varieties, double-distilled in a traditional copper still and rested eight to ten years in oak. Expect baked apple and pear folded into salted-butter caramel, warm cider spice, and a faint mineral salinity on a long finish. Sip it neat after dinner, or pour it over a single big cube. Sip something new.
