Strong Evidence That Preserves Flavor Wins
"The aroma of this one is sweet and chocolaty. It has a strong dessert-like odor. Despite having such a high proof, it doesn't have the overpowering ethanol burn, allowing you to fully appreciate the aroma. There is a slight earthiness mixed with a caramel-sweet flavor. All the way to the swallow, it is nicely balanced and reasonably smooth. The end has a wonderful, long burn that clearly shows its validity. When you consume this, you should be in the mood for a satisfying burn."

I like that bourbon, Miss!
"After reading/watching great reviews, I just purchased my first bottle, and holy moly, what a beverage. If feasible, I'd give it a perfect score of 10. The 1910 was excellent, and it still is, but this one set a higher standard. I enjoy how the greater proof adds boldness without sacrificing flavor. A long, fulfilling finish follows a scent with a ton of depth and a lovely burn. This encourages me to try additional bourbons with greater proof levels. The next step is to locate the Elijah Craig barrel proof."

This whiskey is perfect.
"The 1920 product is this brand's flagship, in my opinion. It is a breathtaking pour. The bourbon's deep, rich caramel hue is evidence of the alchemy that took place in the barrels used to make it. This bourbon is outstanding because of its powerfully woody notes that combine with toffee, caramel, dried dark fruits, and a lengthy, delightful aftertaste. Since I'm not very good with words, I'll just state that 1920 is exquisite and only requires a glass. Everything else is insignificant in contrast."

Prepared To Increase The Proof?
"This should be your first higher proof bourbon when you're ready to start exploring them. This is smooth and drinks nicely below its proof level. On the nose, sweetness of caramel. Cherry and oak flavors and mouthfeel with a maple syrup thickness. You'll get the coziest little hug from the long, well-balanced cinnamon spice finish, which will make you eager for the next sip."

Give it some time, and complexity will eventually emerge.
"On the first pour, I wasn't sure about this one. But as I finish this bottle, it really starts to open up. Take your time with this one and reserve judgment until you have read approximately a third of it. I detect the traditional Carmel caramel notes as it warms up, followed by vanilla, oak, and rye spice in the finish, and a startling burnt marshmallow taste in the middle. Excellent bourbon for the money."

"I chose to sample multiple Old Forrester bourbons in order to identify distinctions because it's an excellent whiskey. I only savor my bourbon neat. Even though it has 115 proof, this bourbon is still excellent. Despite the high proof, it has a great flavor and is smooth. My favorite."
