Ojo de Tigre pairs two agaves rarely seen together: Espadín from Oaxaca and the wild, harder-to-find Tobalá from Puebla. Both are pit-roasted, crushed under a stone tahona, and double-distilled in copper alembic stills at Casa Ausencio León in Tlacolula de Matamoros — traditional mezcal-making, low on smoke and easy to sip. Expect sweet cooked agave, dried fruit, and a citrus lift. Try it neat first, then in a smoky-margarita riff.
