Nuncamiente Añejo Tequila takes its name from a Mexican saying about truth — "nunca miente" means "never lies" — and builds its whole identity around that idea of transparency. Made from 100% Blue Agave grown in the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco, Mexico (NOM 1479), this añejo rests roughly two years in American oak, deepening to a coppery hue and picking up layers of cooked agave, vanilla, and toasted wood alongside the underlying sweetness of the agave itself. The finish comes through smooth and rounded rather than sharp. Pour it neat in a copita to appreciate the oak, or build it into an aged-tequila Old Fashioned.
