Particularly New Amsterdam won't satisfy anyone seeking a traditional London style fix. "Although I don't consume a lot of gin, I have had my fair share over the years, and I believe that New Amsterdam is a terrific bargain. I always have a handle available because it is my "house gin. " This cocktail is excellent for mixing with ginger ale, lemon-lime soda, or fruit juices because the herbal and spice flavors are supported by a strong citrus accent. It is also very refreshing on the rocks. If you are a hard-core martini drinker, you may find this a touch less herbal and complex than you'd probably prefer. those who brew the occasional martini or who drown their martini in olive brine (yuck, but knock yourself out) may find this a bit less herbal and complicated than they'd probably prefer."

Delicious, better than I anticipated!

"My father used to often say that gin only tasted like a pine tree throughout the first 21 years of my existence. I sampled some of the gin he received for his birthday as soon as it was legal for me to do so; it just so happened to be a miniature bottle of this particular brand. It was excellent! Talk about a nice surprise, I immediately detected a lot of citrus and fruity aromas, mostly orange. I will undoubtedly need to purchase some for myself."
