Mijenta Tequila Blanco is a 100% blue agave tequila made in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico, where slow-cooked agave builds a deeper, more aromatic profile before distillation. It opens with cooked agave, vanilla, and caramel, then moves into cantaloupe, peach, and a thread of cinnamon before a round, honeyed finish. Mijenta is a B Corp-certified, carbon-neutral producer, a rare distinction in tequila. Sip it neat to catch the fruit and spice, or build a clean paloma where the agave has room to show.
Tasting notes
On the nose: Intense aromas of cooked agave, vanilla and caramel, enhanced by the slow cooking process, and floral and fruity notes of cantaloupe and peaches.
