Meukow VS Cognac comes from the Meukow house, founded in Cognac, France in 1862 by brothers who first traveled there sourcing eaux-de-vie for the Russian Tsar's court. This VS blend draws eaux-de-vie from across the region's six growing areas, double-distilled and aged in French oak, then bottled in Meukow's signature panther-embossed bottle. Expect apricot and leather on the nose, with honey, vanilla, orange peel, and a touch of licorice and oak on the palate. Sip it neat as a digestif or build it into a simple Cognac and ginger ale over ice.
Tasting notes
Appearance: Shining gold with copper tints.
Head: Fruity and spicy, notes of almond, candied orange and licorice.
