Masút Pinot Noir comes from a 35-acre estate vineyard perched around 1,000 feet up in the Eagle Peak Mendocino County AVA, near the headwaters of the Russian River. Third-generation Fetzer family vintners Ben and Jake farm the vines organically across two blocks — one on the lower slopes, one along the ridge — before aging the wine in French oak to build depth. Expect red cherry, baking spice, and earthy undertones with a supple, silky texture. Pour it alongside roast duck or mushroom risotto.
