Masahiro Okinawa Gin comes from a distillery founded in 1883 on Japan's southernmost islands, built on a base of awamori — Okinawa's traditional long-grain rice spirit — rather than a neutral grain base. Juniper shares the still with five island botanicals: goya, guava leaf, roselle, shekwasha citrus, and long pepper, run through two separate single distillations for a tropical, citrus-forward profile with a bittersweet green edge.
