Mavroudi is one of Greece's rare, nearly-lost red grapes, and the Kontogiannis family coaxes it into something quietly magnetic. Grown on old vines high above Corinth and farmed biodynamically since 2006, it's fermented in stainless steel with a light touch. Expect wild red and black cherry, blackberry and plum, brightened by that signature hint of sourness and edged with clove and nutmeg. Juicy, medium-bodied, and food-loving, it's a natural next to pork skewers, tomato-rich pastas, or slow-cooked stews.
