Maker's Mark pushes its wheated bourbon further with Cask Strength: bottled straight from the barrel, nothing added or taken away, after resting at least seven years in small batches of just twenty-four barrels. Proof lands anywhere from 107 to 114, layering toasted oak and salted caramel over warm vanilla and spice, finishing full and rich with dark chocolate and espresso. It took Straight Bourbon of the Year honors at the London Spirits Competition. Pour it neat or over a single large cube for slow sipping on a cold night.
