Maison Chanzy's Bourgogne Chardonnay comes off clay-limestone slopes in Burgundy's Côte Chalonnaise, where the estate has farmed with an eye toward terroir since 1974. After a slow, gentle press, the wine spends ten months split between 350-liter barrels and temperature-controlled steel tanks, then five more in steel before bottling — a process built for freshness over oak weight.
