Here's a single malt with a passport: M&H distills in Tel Aviv, where Israel's warm Mediterranean climate matures the spirit quickly. For this Elements bottling, the team sourced Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks seasoned in Jerez, Spain, then filled them with new-make. The result pours red fruit and gentle oak on the nose, a medium body of sherry sweetness and dark chocolate on the palate, and a finish of chocolate, tobacco, and oak. Bottled at 46%. Pour it neat and let it open.
Tasting notes
Aroma: Dominant rich red fruit notes, covered by gentle oak, caramel scent and lemon freshness.
Palate: Medium bodied. Light fruity sherry sweetness, rich fruits and dark chocolate, followed by gentle oaky notes.
Finish: Long. The dark chocolate notes linger in the palate for a while, followed by tobacco and oak notes.
