Overview

More Info

Most reposados settle for one barrel. Loco Ámbar uses four — six to eight months apiece in seasoned Irish whiskey, stout beer, aged port, and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, finished in French oak. The result: 100% blue agave from El Arenal, Jalisco, layered with honey, roasted grain, toasted nut, and warm spice under a bright amber pour. Sip it slow, neat, alongside grilled shrimp or charred vegetables to let the caramel and spice notes stretch out.

Tipxy AI Overview

What people across the internet are saying
★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ 4/5 AI Rating

Reviewers and retailers describe Loco Ambar Reposado as a layered, innovative 5-barrel reposado — Irish whiskey, stout, port, PX sherry and French oak each contribute honey, malt, nuts and spice. Critical coverage thin but reception positive, framed as a thoughtful sipper and premium cocktail base.
