Pieropan has been the benchmark name in Soave since the 1930s, when the family was first to put the village's name on a wine label. This Superiore is built from hand-harvested Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave off volcanic, hillside vineyards, fermented cool and rested on its lees for months before bottling — the extra time shows in a rounder, more textured wine than standard Soave. Expect citrus and orchard-blossom aromatics with real salinity on the palate. Serve chilled alongside seafood, egg dishes, or a simple vegetable soup.
