Le Portier Shay carries a personal story: NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe created this VSOP as a tribute to his grandmother, Mary Porter. The cognac blends Ugni Blanc eaux-de-vie from three prized crus—Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, and Fins Bois—double-distilled in Charentais copper pot stills and rested at least four years in French oak. Expect caramelized apple, chocolate, and butterscotch easing into vanilla, dried fruit, and a faint orange-zest finish. Pour it neat after dinner, or over one large cube to slow things down.
Tasting notes
Rich, evocative aroma of caramelised spiced apple. Hints of chocolate and lingering butterscotch. Silky mouthfeel with warming notes of dried fruits and a hint of spice. Sweet smokiness reminiscent
