A Cabernet that spent time somewhere unexpected. Layer Cake sources fruit from across California's diverse wine country, then finishes this Cab with three months in charred bourbon barrels after its stint in French oak — a move that pulls extra vanilla and toasted-oak depth into the glass alongside dark blackberry fruit and a lingering, velvety finish. Pour it alongside smoked brisket or ribs; the barrel char meets its match.
