La Venenosa Valenciana Realicero Maguey is an artisanal raicilla that showcases the distinctive traditions of the coastal and lowland regions of Jalisco. Produced in extremely small batches, this expression highlights the Realicero style of maguey distillation, a method rooted in rural palenque practices where wild and semi-wild agave is transformed using time-honored techniques. As part of the La Venenosa series, it represents one of the most exploratory and terroir-focused interpretations of raicilla, emphasizing regional identity and handcrafted production.
Appearance: Crystal clear with a soft sheen and slightly oily texture, reflecting traditional distillation methods.
Nose: Bright and rustic with aromas of roasted agave, wet earth, and coastal minerality. Notes of citrus peel, green herbs, and light tropical fruit are balanced by subtle smoke and vegetal depth.
Palate: Layered and expressive with cooked agave sweetness, herbal complexity, and earthy undertones. Flavors of pineapple, lime zest, and green pepper evolve alongside light smoke, mineral salinity, and a faint floral lift.
