La Venenosa Etílica Tepe is a rare, small-batch raicilla crafted in Jalisco that highlights the Tepehuano-style production traditions of western Mexico. This expression is part of La Venenosa’s “Etílica” series, which focuses on preserving ancestral distillation techniques and showcasing the diversity of rural agave spirits. Produced in extremely limited quantities, it reflects a raw, unfiltered interpretation of raicilla shaped by wild agave, traditional fermentation, and artisanal stills.
Appearance: Crystal clear with a slightly oily texture that reflects its rustic, small-batch distillation.
Nose: Bold and earthy with aromas of roasted agave, wet stone, and light smoke. Herbal notes of sage, eucalyptus, and green pepper are layered with subtle tropical fruit and citrus peel.
Palate: Complex and vibrant with wild agave sweetness, earthy minerality, and herbal intensity. Flavors of green banana, roasted pineapple, and citrus are balanced by pepper spice, light smoke, and a savory vegetal edge.
