With little to no burn to the palate and a very pleasing finish, this new 12 year Knob Creek Bourbon has a wonderfully smooth flavor. Although the flavors in the Knob Creek 12 Year are not as deep as those in the Single Barrel, I had hoped for more robust flavors. If you enjoy a really smooth drinking bourbon, I highly recommend."

"My wife does not like this, not to be sexist. However, I do! It has a wonderful complexity to it but is a little more harsher on the palate than the 9 year. It needs a little water shot. Overall though, I believe it to be a very fine bourbon. Once more, it's a little overpriced at $80. There are several, superior options available for a lot less money."

"At Costco, I discovered some 15-year whiskey, but I preferred the 12 because it was cheaper. The whiskey gives more than its older sibling despite having a touch more sting and greater flavor than the 15. It's a little sweeter than EH Taylor, but it tastes a lot like that whiskey.
