Since 1975, Kenwood Vineyards has paired each vintage of its reserve Cabernet Sauvignon with an original label commissioned from a working artist — Picasso, Miró, and Shepard Fairey have all had a turn, making it California's first artist-created wine label. The wine itself backs up the concept: Sonoma County fruit, barrel-selected lot by lot after two years of aging, giving cassis, black cherry, and vanilla notes with a smooth, lingering finish around 14.5% ABV.
