★ ★ ★ ★ ☆ 4/5 AI Rating

James E. Pepper 1776 Straight Bourbon carries the legacy of one of Kentucky's oldest whiskey brands, revived with a bold 100-proof expression using a high-rye mash bill and authentic unfiltered bottling. Bourbon fans appreciate its well-structured balance of corn sweetness, spicy rye, and vanilla oak without the chill-filtering that strips character from many competitors. It consistently earns strong reviews as an honest, characterful Kentucky bourbon at a reasonable price point.
