Tipsy Sauce - Caramel Hard Sauce
Jacob's Pardon traces back to Prohibition-era brothers who bootlegged whiskey to keep their family afloat—until a pardon from FDR let them go legit. This Kentucky-sourced small batch, Recipe No. 2, is blended by veteran spirits authority Paul Pacult and bottled at a robust 109.3 proof. Expect dry cereal and baking spice on the nose, giving way to cocoa butter, clove, caramel, and baked honey ham on the palate. Pour it neat after dinner, or over a single large cube to slow things down.
Tasting notes
