Blended from 42 malt and grain whiskies with a Speyside heart drawn from Knockando, Strathmill, Glen Spey, and Auchroisk, J&B Rare has carried the Justerini & Brooks name since 1749. Casks rest a minimum of three years before marrying into the final blend, yielding a nose of soft apple, pear, and dry wood, a palate rounded with vanilla and orchard fruit, and a short, spice-touched oak finish.
